What we collect

ChiroMatch collects information you voluntarily provide when using our screening tool or creating a provider account. This includes:

• Patient screening data: Symptom descriptions, health history responses, medication information, and care preferences entered into the screening tool. This data is not linked to a named identity unless you choose to share your name when requesting an appointment.
• Provider account data: Name, clinic name, email address, phone number, clinic address, modalities offered, and billing information for paid plans.
• Referral contact information: When a patient requests an appointment, they may provide their name, phone number, and email so the provider can follow up.

How we use your data

We use collected data to operate the ChiroMatch platform — specifically to generate clinical screening results, match patients with appropriate providers, deliver referrals to provider dashboards, and process payments for paid provider plans. We do not sell your data to third parties, and we do not use patient health data for advertising purposes.

Data storage and security

Data is stored in Supabase, a SOC 2 Type II compliant cloud database platform. All data is encrypted in transit (TLS 1.2+) and at rest. Access to production data is restricted to authorized personnel only.

Cookies and analytics

ChiroMatch does not use advertising cookies or third-party tracking pixels. We may use basic analytics to understand how the platform is used and to improve the experience.

Data retention

Screening data is retained for the purpose of providing clinical summaries to matched providers. Provider accounts and associated data are retained for the duration of the account. You may request deletion of your data at any time by contacting us.

Your rights

You have the right to access, correct, or delete your personal data. California residents may have additional rights under the CCPA. To exercise any of these rights, please contact us at privacy@getchiromatch.com.

HIPAA disclaimer

ChiroMatch is a screening and referral platform — it is not a covered entity under HIPAA. The screening tool does not collect protected health information (PHI) as defined by HIPAA, as screenings are completed anonymously unless the patient voluntarily provides identifying information when requesting an appointment. Providers who receive referral data through ChiroMatch are responsible for handling that data in accordance with their own HIPAA obligations.

Changes to this policy

We may update this policy from time to time. Material changes will be communicated via email to registered providers and noted on this page with an updated revision date.
